i would suggest for some of you to look into the joining the Oathkeepers. There is a local Delaware chapter.

I thought the Oathkeepers limited their membership to people who "took the oath" or basically only former Military/LEO?

Most canned goods are fine for at least 10 years. And make a good addition to any pantry.

Maybe look into dried lentils/beans? http://extension.usu.edu/foodstorage/htm/dry-beans
Rice is a good one too. http://extension.usu.edu/foodstorage/htm/white-rice

When in doubt ask our friends in Utah. ;)

Sorry I haven't posted in a while so here's the up-date . we bought 132 acres in w.v. plan to move the end of next year. A huge thank you goes out to jeot who helped research the air pressure problems on the M923A2 truck . all is working fine now. it was tagged a couple weeks ago and Friday we took it on a trial run to the shore and back ( no problems ) have not tried off road or sand yet, that's for another time. wifie and I stop in to touch base with Mr. and Mrs. sodbuster on the way to slower lower Delaware .The trip was uneventful except one time when I saw a shiny object and nearly ran over an s.u.v.
Andrew (my son) and I got to meet some of the prepper clan chuck, kountryboy ,and others who's names I can't recall at the moment.
We are still prepping . more of the essentials we all know will be needed when the power goes out. lets all stay in touch.
question; anyone here good with c.b. or ham radio ?
