I have OC'd in Pike Creek / Midway area often. Regarding 'unnecessary drama', I have found ignoring unsolicited comments to be very effective - and it usually pisses off the Lib's to no end when you turn your back on them ! If they 'SWAT' you, have them arrested for filing a false police report to '911'.
I would say, try to engage them in an intelligent discussion, but that's useless.
