I can't speak for the Delaware location, but there was a corporate sign posted on the exterior wall of a Waffle House somewhere along I-95 in South Carolina (where I don't think you can OC anyway) indicating that firearms were not permitted to be carried into the 'restaurant.'

Every Waffle House I have ever been in has had a no firearm/knife/etc. sign high up on the brick wall outside. I didn't notice these signs until after many visits. Never did any WH location say anything to me about my firearm.

Some friends of mine from Alabama wrote to corporate afer an encounter and it is supposed to be company policy.

None of the Bob evans have ever said anything about my pistol and they make better breakfast anyway.
