I would add something about the other members not having trouble at other competing banks in the area. and a blurb about how you were very satisfied using their bank until this became an issue (even though the manager (CJ) acknowledged you were doing nothing wrong or illegal

I just don't think that you have anything to gain.

Perhaps slightly re-worded . . . . "Every day law abiding citizens carry firearms in . . blah blah blah and never commit crimes, but sometimes even deter or stop crimes in progress . . . <insert story from a year or so ago where a CC holder stopped a robbery in progress in Michigan> blah blah blah."

I think that the letter should come across as factual, professional and unemotional. As soon as you mention "My friend does it" it could be almost be construed as whining. "John gets to do it. Why can't I?"

I don't really claim to have all (or any) of the answers; like Boots, I'm just thinking out loud.

Good OC day today. Went to lunch with Pastor at a Chines place. Then went to Wilmington Trust Bank to activate my new debit card. The lady there was more than helpful. Went to Jiffy Lube, and while paying for the oil change, a few of the guys came in, and we had a nice 5-person chat about guns, ranges, and the like. Really friendly! I also swung by Happy Harrys without incident.
