What about a Springfield XD-9 subcompact? Same platform that you currently use. I use +p rounds in mine too.
I think I want something a little thinner and smaller the xd sub is going to be just as thick just a shorter barrel length and shorter grip. I was thinking something along the lines of a ruger lcp or kel tec P3at or possibly a snub nose hammerless .38 +p just something that would fit in the front pocket of a pair of khakis and not be noticeable. I think a snub nose revolver still might stick out quite a bit.

Got it. Ruger has a new 9mm on the LCP platform as well. Some people really like the LCP and others can't stand it. Make sure you handle one before you buy it.
