I was informed that one of the requirements when first OC'ing (same for your first run while CC'ing) was a trip to Walmart. You're supposed to at least hit the ammo counter and also get some nacho's to eat. They even had a 'map' to follow, as a online gag. Must have been a regional thing since our local Walmarts didn't have the nacho's with cheese.

The past month or so there’s been nothing worth writing about. I mostly stick to the same places and none of them have had any problems with me carrying. The guys at Hank’s Liquor Store know me, New Castle Right Aid is used to me stopping in, there’s a guy at Bj’s that always stops me to talk guns, Shop Rite in Wilmington or Bear no problems, Walmart, Hibachi buffets and I’ve never had any problems at any Wawa. I do get some looks walking my dog through Castle Hills neighborhood, but I still think its because he’s a large dog. There are some places I have yet to OC, like Christiana Mall, Concord Mall, the DMV, WFSF banks and some of the local gun shops like X ring. I don’t know if I can or if I should at those places.

I also turned in my CCWD application. Shouldn’t be any reason why I won’t get approved, but it’s a may issue state so you never know. They told me it will be a 4-6 month wait.

X-ring is where I got my XD40. I got it in a holster up on my dash right now. And yes, I'm in the car parked waiting for someone. Wouldn't leave the gun alone.

I got my CCDW last week. Now I want to get my Pa. Permit. Does anyone have the address to the place in Lancaster and what do I need to take?

I also got a permit from the new police chief of Dover to OC in Dover shortly before my CCDW came in the mail.

Doesn't the law say that you need the chiefs approval letter even if you have a CCDW to carry in Dover?

No, if you have a DE CCW , you may carry either open or concealed in Dover.
