A few weeks ago I was rear ended driving on rt 24 in the Lewes area. I was bringing my 5 yr girl back from preschool. I was hit hard enough to slightly buckle the fame of my Saab. Neither of us was injured. I called 911 and the police came in about 10 mins. I was cc at the time. When the officer came to me I informed her that I was cc with a permit. She smiled and said o.k. then started her work. She is the only one I informed but I rode in the ambulance with my daughter to the emergency room. Just to be safe, because she said her head, neck and back hurt. Met the officer again in the emergency room. She gave me all the paperwork, talked about her citing the other driver. And, nothing said about it. So, I vote this was a good encounter.
